Oceanside Track and Field Club

Welcome!

The Oceanside Track and Field Club is an organization that provides District 69 youth an opportunity to participate in the sport of Athletics. The goals of the club are to:

  • Promote sportsmanship
  • Provide healthy competition
  • Develop fitness and skills in the sport of Athletics
  • Have fun!

OTFC's Annual Awards and Games' Day

When: Saturday, November 19th

Time: 1:00-3:30pm (Awards will begin at 1:15pm, followed by games and socializing)

Where: Arrowsmith Activity Building (At the Coombs Fairgrounds, off Ford Road in Coombs; Please note, this is not the Rodeo grounds, and if you are coming from Parksville and get to the market you have gone too far; Ford Road is tucked in beside the Coombs General Store)

What to Wear: Runners and comfy clothing

Awards: Annual trophies will be presented as well as rosettes. If your child attended four meets, they will win a rosette. (A really BIG rosette)

New OTFC Coaches Welcome

The OTFC coaches will be meeting on Wednesday, November 9th, 7:00-9:00ish pm in Room 904, at Ballenas Secondary. If you are interested in coming out to coach during the 2012 season, we would be very happy to welcome you to this meeting. The meeting will debrief the 2011 season and start to plan the 2012 season.

If you have anything you would like to share about the club, practices, etc, please send them our way before this meeting. Your feedback and suggestions are always appreciated. OTFC is successful because of the dedication and enthusiasm of the coaches and positive support by the families.
