Images and Pics
Hi all. If any folks have pictures from the Port Alberni meet please don't hesitate to upload to our Google Drive account! Or send images directly to me.
If you are concerned about your hours, there will be two possible more opportunities to help, one being helping at the QB Triathlon, marshalling runners (Sunday, June 23rd, same weekend as Powell River Meet) and if the club is going to be helping with the concession at the Elementary School Track Meet there will be hours available there.
Throwing practice is cancelled Tuesday, April 30.
Port Alberni (Bob Daily) Meet
Great performances and sportsmanship by all our athletes in Sidney! Ribbons will be available for pick up in Port Alberni.
Kerri has put together a performance log for all to use. Click on link to download.
The club is missing 4 starting blocks and the first aid tote. PLEASE let us know if you have any information about these missing items.
Customer Appreciation Night
On Wednesday April 17th, there will be a BBQ and some great specials at Frontrunners. Four of our club athletes, Miryam and Rebecca Bassett and Thomas and Peter Oxland have been selected to be part of a mid-Island group that is sponsored by New Balance and Frontrunners for their "Track and Cross-Country Project" and donated proceeds from the BBQ will be used to support travel expenses for these athletes to travel to high performance meets.
